Dave Chappelle
Ok, so sorry for not posting on time. You see I had tickets to see Dave Chappelle last and his set did not end till around 3:30. I just want to start of by saying that seeing Chappelle perform for an outstanding 4 hours and 16 min was probably the single most amazing performance by one person I have ever seen in my life. That’s over 4 hours standup (a personal record for Chappelle), which is amazing considering most standup acts are for 30 min to an hour. I have never seen a person so comfortable on stage in my life. After two hours of his new material (the entire show was new stuff) he went on for two + hours of adlib, in which he would ask the audience about what they wanted to talk about. The man was hilarious in covering every topic that was presented to him by the audience. I have seen a fair share of standup acts, but this by far was the most impressive performance I have ever seen. I am still beside my self by the performance I viewed last night.
So it just so happens that Dave Chappelle will be continuing to perform at the Punch line (a small intimate venue) till Thursday, and I highly recommend paying the money ($45 plus a fucking bullshit ticket master charge) to see what I consider to be my generation’s greatest standup comic. Check out the link. punchline

Wow, I'm pretty jealous. Although, you can totally tell that you were still kind of tired when you made the post since you spelled Dave Chappelle's name wrong four times. Oops.
Anyway, as far as developing your theme, you could try discussing a TV show next. But Dave Chappelle is a tough act to follow. Good luck with the whole doing your homework on time thing.
Dave Chappelle is funny, every time I saw his show on Comedy Central I would laugh so hard. Comedy Central has some great features on that website that I thought you might enjoy as a Dave Chappelle fan. As for your post I liked it, but I agree with Sarah that a little proof reading would make it that much better.
I would like to say I saw Dave Chappelle before he got big. If you check out my blog in a week or two, I will post on my reasoning as to why stand-up comedy has gotten really big in the last five years.
I've seen Dave in person twice, before he got his show and a household name. It was the Dog House Comedy Jam at the Shoreline. It is really a shame he couldn't continue on Comedy Central. I have a bit recorded from him he did on Sesame Street and one about how he was held hostage on a bus by a dude jerking off. Did he drop those during the show?
Oh man that is amazing...I am so jealous you saw Dave Chapelle...You definitely had a good reason to post late in my book...
4 hours plus, is insane. I cant beleive he was able to go on that long. Did I read right that it was at the punchline? A personal venue like that, with Dave Chapelle must have been one of the best shows you have ever seen.
I am a huge fan of stand up, and love to go to the local act shows at the Punchline.
Re: My blog
I dont do sports in other areas only because I am not as familiar with the teams as I am with the local bay area teams...but when something huge is happening in the sports world, I definitely plan on writing about it.
Thanks for your input.
